Hahaha, nice. It reminds me of some Archie comics I got from the 70s-- there were little blurbs on how in the 2000s, we would have robots do everything and eat food in little pills. Hey 1970s, we may not have that, but we do have shoes that glow.

:D When my brother and I were kids, living in Albuquerque, there was this awesome indoor play place called The D-Zone, where the Service Merchandise is (used to be? don't know anymore, long time since we've had to go to that end of town when we visit). When our mom would tell us we were going, we'd clean our shoes up really nicely. The white parts, at least.
Because when we walked into the first part of the lobby, the room was lit with blacklights.

I'm intrigued. Reminds me of those light up shoes that little kids have I so wanted a pair but they didn't make them in my size :( Anything that glows, lights up or is sparkly I enjoy. I guess it's true what they say, small things amuse small minds. I'm cool with that though :P But those things just have that kid factor that everyone loves.
